Right now our user Group-C can't edit comments after the work order is completed, the work order must be re-opened by the supervisor. We'd like to give them the ability to edit comments in the completed status, but not the closed status.
Yes that is true. They have to have the ability to reopen a closed work order via status authorizations. I tested in internal to verify and that is exactly what I found to be true.
That does help. So to clarify, even if they have the ability to open (R) a work order (go from - to R), they need the ability to go from C to R in order to edit comments in the Completed (C) status?
The only user groups/users that can add comments after a work order is closed is those with the ability to change the status of the closed work order to a system code of R. Hope this helps.
