Hi Dale, I have tried this but have not been able to make it work. I have added the URL to the email. The URL link does work, when logging in it takes you directly to the EAM work order but I would like the work order attached instead of the URL as well
FYI. I just made it work. Have attached the email to the EMAIL NOTIFICATION.
Send me your email address and I will send you how to do it. My email address is email@example.com
Thanks Dale. the information you sent in the email helped. The setup is a little tricky if you do not know. looks like the main points are - selecting the report in the template, setting up the parameter with a matching code in the Email notification and the report parameter :MP5User.
GOOD DEAL. I am still trying to hammer down how to include the checklist on the attached WORK ORDER. Am guessing it is similar to setting up the proper code and parameter from the report
Hi Dale, I think it might be parameter 33 SEL_TSKCHKLST. it needs to be a +. The changes are made in Admin - Setup - Reports,. This is for the Print work order report WZJOBQ.
I believe you are correct. Am not for certain if I have to feed a + to the report from the email template or not. I have mine set as default and it works normally just fine. Does not pick it up on the email generated version.
Did you get to the bottom of this? Keith is correct with the report parameter. If you have it set to "+", and it is still not printing on your report, you may wish to map this directly into the email notification. I'm glad you were able to get the report to print with your email template!
how would you map this in? There is not a field associated to the R5EVENTS table that would allow this to happen. Unless I have to add a UDF for this and have that pass through the system.
FYI. I got this to work, I used a UDFCKBOX field and check it if there is a checklist associated to the WO. I have this mapping to the Report through the Email Notification Screen and it worked. I am now getting Work Orders attached to the Email Notification that will print the Checklist.😀

Hey Dale! I'm so glad you found a solution that works for you!
