I am having an issue with our task list instructions. I create the Task List in Word then paste it into the Instruction field. At this point multiple spaces between lines are created in the instruction field which have to be manually deleted in order to keep the task list compact. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

Hi Mike, I think Michele's answer is probably the best way. I did however have a similar issue after importing data from another CMMS through the excel load sheets. Some of the plants we did found that the text looked ok in EAM but did not print out ok on the work order. One of the maintenance coordinators found this trick worked for him.
Here is his solution - again not sure it apples for your issue but it is easy enough to try
I went to edit task plan,
I highlighted the tasks, then under the 3 dotted task bar I numbered the list then saved it. I went back to the task and highlighted it again and under the 3 dotted task bar I took the numbering off and then re-saved again.
Yes, my suggestion would be to paste what you created in Notepad. This way it strips off all the formatting details that Word adds to the information. Then copy it from Notepad to Infor EAM task instructions tab. Hope this helps.
