Hello, Most likely the issue is that the direct purchase item was received into the store. If you look at the install parameter PDRCPTTO if it is set to STORE then the items that are recieved still have to be issued to the work order. This is done on the Issue Return Parts Screen. Enter in the work order/Activity then click on Action button Held items. This will allow you to issue the parts. Then should be able to close the work order. If this is not the process that you want to use in the future then change the parameter listed above to EVENT. Hope this helps
I have another one though. This time it's:
"The work order cannot be closed, because open purchase orders exist for this work order or a multiple equipment child work order."
I do have a purchase order that has one received and cancelled part. Don't see how that works. The child WO is closed.
Sorry, This is the last one i'm having an issue with. I'm such a noob. lol.

If you look at the purchase order tab of the work order that should give you the detail of what is outstanding that way you can deal with each issue.
I don't think there is a problem there. Not sure if you can make this out.
You need to look in the outstanding column to see what items are still open and need to be recieved.
You're smart! Thanks again!
